Armed Rhymery releases "Swim", a 17 track mixtape filled with a variety of trap sounds of artists out of South Louisiana.
I'm a huge fan of big projects as it really display the work and dedication of the artists involved. Armed Rhymery is a dynamic duo consisting of Mo Blak or Kween Mo and Edward X. They met back in 2010 and have completed several projects together.
The first track "Numbers" has a epic build up of vocal layers. That leads into a hard bars. The hook "Look At The Numbers Go Up" has a catchy feeling to it. The beat has a slow tempo vibe with padding synths on the side.
"I'm So Bad" also displays the real lyrics and how well the collab works with Armed Rhymery. The track moves into a lot of subjects from drugs and the effects to
The start to finish, the 17 tracks on the mixtape displays a well written and produced project that cannot be skipped. The final track "Good Service" is probably my favorite. The up tempo track has a good back and forth bar structure between Armed Rhymery featuring Will Khan & IY.
