Hailing out of South Dakota, meet R&B’s newest sensation Asreth. Currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia, Asreth got her start in music at a very young age. Before we dive straight into it, what comes to mind when you hear South Dakota? I’ll wait…With the south being the center of attention for the entertainment scene, South Dakota seems so far in the back of our thoughts. Asreth is determined to show the world South Dakota does make diamonds and why she is the actual proof. Her father who is currently backing her music career details her early contribution to the music scene as early as 1 years old. By the age of 5 she was already singing in the church choir building her vocal foundation.
As her voice matured, she began to perform on platforms outside of church which led her to participating in a program called Camp Jam in Atlanta. Camp Jam gave her a more professional insight of the actual business side of the industry. From recording full length songs to getting familiarized with the business side of the entertainment industry, young Asreth strategically prepped for her opportunity to take the spotlight of the music industry head on. While still attending Camp Jam, she formed a singing group with some local friends, called Sweet Tea. The group released two songs on YouTube before going their separate ways. After leaving the group, she made a pledge to put her focus on being a solo artist.
With a heart full of ambition, and an overdose of natural talent, Asreth decided to take it up a few notches. She began taking piano and guitar lessons as well as sharpening her vocal skills with a vocal coach to obtain that A1 sound. It’s the first quarter of 2020 and Asreth is ready for the limelight. Gearing up for her debut as a solo artist, Asreth prepares to drop her first single “FIX IT” from her long-awaited EP titled “VOICE TO SONG”. Get familiar with Asreth.
